Caed is getting to be such a funny little boy. I love the things that come out of his mouth...
- like one morning this week he woke up and said, "I wanna go out n buy lychees" (he had seen a picture of lychees in a book the day before)
- or yesterday he was 'helping' me cook by taking things out of the drawer and telling me what they were. he pulled out my pampered chef biscut cutter and said, "it's a gondala pan"... not sure where the gondala part came from???
-a few weeks ago i was reading him a book about easter and the last page has Jesus assending into heaven. I said, "look Jesus is going up, up, up..." and Caed quickly interjected, "Like and airplane!"
- my favorite is when he does something silly and then says to me, "look i'm funny" (Caedmon pulling down the drying laundry is NOT funny!)
- and i love how he is remembering songs now and singing them at random times. he said to me the other day when we were outside, "oh - no, it got eaten by..." from slippery fish.
- he also just memorized his first bible verse (well partial one) and will proudly say, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart" - a good reminder for mommy right now!
okay enough with the bragging - hope the grandma's enjoyed this :) despite all the 'cute' things he does i still feel like i spend a good part of my day discipling him... trying to see every part of parenthood as a once in a life time opportunity, a blessing, and a joy!
